Rise & Build is a bold and purpose-driven initiative led by ESI and proudly funded by the Australian Government’s Building Women’s Careers Program. It’s designed to support women to build meaningful, long-term careers in traditionally male-dominated industries — including construction, clean energy, advanced manufacturing, and digital technology.

Through mentoring, tailored training, supported work placements and genuine industry engagement, Rise & Build removes barriers and creates real, sustainable opportunities for women and employers alike.

A Movement with Momentum

Rise & Build has now been officially activated. With strong government support and deep community connection, this project recognises that building a strong, inclusive workforce requires more than a one-size-fits-all solution.

Our approach is grounded in place-based delivery, cultural understanding, and valuing lived experience — not fearing it. We are proudly working to create workplace environments that are safe, inclusive, and ready to support women to lead and thrive.

Our diverse project team brings together cultural knowledge, industry expertise, and lived experience to co-design solutions that are locally informed and nationally significant. This is not just a program — it’s a movement for lasting change.
